Diamond Lake Resort
The 2026 USARA National Championships will start and finish at Diamond Lake Resort in the beautiful Umpqua National Forest of Southern Oregon. Built as a humble fishing lodge in the 1920s, this hidden gem has blossomed into a family-friendly getaway, with lodging, restaurants and year-round recreation. From October 23-24, 2026, the resort will be all about AR, as 192 racers tackle a course so epic the Race Directors requested an additional 2 hours for teams to tackle what has traditionally been a 30-hour race. Jason Magness and Darren Steinbach of Bend Racing have designed a course that will immerse teams in the rugged beauty that is Oregon’s central Cascades. From splashy whitewater on the North Umpqua River to an epic trek to the summit of Mount Bailey to mountain biking through lodgepole pine forest, teams will cover up to 116 miles as they race for the title of National Champions.
